With ClearMetal’s share feature, you can securely share the live status of any ClearMetal shipment with customers or partners.
The shared view is continuously updated as ClearMetal receives updates from the carrier, ingests new data, or makes new predictions so you can come back to the link as needed to see the latest information. If you have customer specific references (for example, PO Number), they will be included in the shared view.
From the Shipments Board, select the checkbox next to the shipment or shipments you want to share. Click the share icon at the top of the board.
The share icon is also accessible at the top of a specific reference page.
After you click the share icon, the Share Live Updates pop-up window opens. Enter the email addresses of all recipients you want to share the shipment(s) with. If you prefer not to use email to send the shipment, you can choose to copy the shareable link to share shipment information through other applications.
The shared view of the shipment(s) contains a high-level timeline, current status, key reference information, and the ClearMetal prediction. The shared view is accessible for 90 days, after which the shared link will no longer work.
If you want to discontinue access before the 90 days has passed, you can do so from the Share Manager page. Click on the share icon. Click REMOVE ACCESS for the shipments you want to stop sharing.
