About the Tagging Function

Use CTT Platform's tagging feature to add recurring labels to shipments.

Tags can be used to filter and sort subscriptions, containers, and dashboards and analyses by assigned tags.

Subscription-level Tags vs. Container-level Tags

Assign tags on the subscription-level and on the container-level.

When tagging a subscription, all containers within that subscription will be associated with the chosen tag. Use the subscription-level tag feature to describe the freight forwarder responsible for a shipment.

When tagging a container, the tag will not be auto-assigned to other containers within the same subscription. Use the container-level tag feature when your tags describe specific container content or any other criteria that differs within the same booking.

Tag Cloud

View, create, edit, and delete tags in the Tag Cloud for your organization to add tags to subscriptions or containers.

To access the Tag Cloud,

1. Click on your user icon.
2. Click Tag admin in the drop-down menu.

Tags created for your organization are available in all sub-accounts and can be linked to subscriptions and containers by any user.

Apply Tags

Apply tags to subscriptions and containers:

• Add, Change, or Remove Container Tags
  • NOTE | Adding tags to a container will only apply to that container and will not be applied to related containers in a corresponding subscription or to containers within the same booking. These tags will be visible in the Container Directory.
• Add, Change, or Remove Subscription Tags
  • NOTE | Adding tags to a subscription will apply the tag to all containers within that subscription. These tags will be visible in the Subscription Directory and the Container Directory.

Tags applied to subscriptions and containers are visible in the Subscription Directory, Container Directory, Subscription Detail page, and Container Detail page.

Use the filter panel at the top of the Subscription Directory or the Container Directory to filter shipments by assigned tags.

When filtering by multiple tags, you can choose whether to filter shipments by all selected tags or by any of the selected tags.

Use the filter panel above the selected dashboard to filter shipments by assigned tags.
