Ocean: Importing Shipment Files
Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for your continued business as we have worked towards a faster and more direct method for the importing of shipment files. We have taken steps to create a more automated process in order to improve efficiency. This new process removes the need for project44 re-formatting and manually importing these files. This will decrease the chance of delay or error as the file will be immediately imported automatically when sent.
Our new process will require you to submit shipment files per the below steps:
Send file to:upload@p44-fileserver.com
Subject: Import Shipment Files– Please advise Support and your CSM if you will continue using a subject used on past import requests.
The file attachment will need to be formatted exactly as seen in the attached template.
See attachment: Template POVm
Be sure to note the following functionality requirements:
Access control tags must be carefully labeled, you will need to maintain your own access control tags.
The tags MUST be on one column and not concatenated. Eg
The file must include content starting from column A (first column) and filled through each column with a header. If a required cell has no content we cannot map the column names. You can remove or add additional Tag columns into the template following the same naming convention of Tag 1, Tag 2, Tag 3, and so on.
Column names CANNOT have multiple lines entered down in one cell as we will not parse (ingest the information).
Please reach out to Support@project44.com with any questions on this new process.
Thank you,
