Get Started with Connecting to Carriers
Welcome to project44! We’re excited to kick-off our partnership by integrating with project44.
The first step in implementing the project44 functionality requires loading your LTL carrier credentials into our test Visibility Operations Center (VOC). This guide will take you through step-by-step instructions for loading carrier credentials, navigating the system, and using our support portal.
-
After signing in for the first time, we recommend that you change your password. Only customer administrators can change passwords for other users in the event of a forgotten password, lockout, etc. Reach out to your Implementation contact if you do not know who the customer admin is for your organization.
To change your password, refer to Change the Password for a User.
-
Your implementation contact might have already set up user accounts and key stakeholder credentials. However, you might want to add additional users during the implementation phase or in the future. A customer administrator can add new users for your organization.
To add new users, refer to Add a New User.
-
Your Implementation contact might have already added relevant permissions to the initial users they created. However, you might want to add additional permissions to existing users and/or need to assign permissions to new users you have created. A customer administrator is able to add or remove permissions for users.
To add or remove permissions from a user account, refer to Edit User Information.
-
Account Groups are used by customers to identify customer specific pricing or locations.
NOTE: If your organization is using blanket pricing, then carriers can be set up under "default" and this section can be ignored.
Account Groups enable you to uniquely identify customer account credentials such that accounts can be grouped to a specific customer, organization, geographic regional, or other grouping. Use Account Groups to identify and organize your customer's credentials.
To add Account Groups, refer to Add an Account Group.
-
Adding LTL carrier credentials is the first step to establishing an API connection with the relevant carriers via project44's VOC. You will be required to enter credential data such as username, password, account number, and any other data points required by the carriers.
To add carriers, refer to Add a Capacity Provider Account.
You can also import multiple carriers if you have a .CSV file containing their credential data.
-
Once you have added capacity providers, test their credentials to ensure they have been added correctly.
To test their credentials, refer to Test Capacity Provider Credentials.
