Shipment Document Filtering
What this feature does
The Document Types filter lets you quickly find shipments based on whether specific documents are attached or not. This is especially useful when you need to:
- Identify shipments missing required paperwork
- Confirm documentation readiness before pickup, customs, or delivery
- Narrow large shipment lists to only the records that matter
You can filter shipments that contain or do not contain one or more document types.
Where to find the filter
Navigate to:
Visibility → Shipments → Filters → Document Types
Once applied, the filter updates the shipment list in real time.
How to use the Document Types filter
- Go to Visibility → Shipments
- Open Filters
- Select Document Types
- Choose a condition:
- Contains – shows shipments that have the selected document(s)
- Does not contain – shows shipments missing the selected document(s)
- Select one or more document types from the list
- Apply the filter to update results
Tip: Selecting multiple document types applies an OR condition (any of the selected documents).

You can filter on the following document types:
- Bill of Lading
- House Bill of Lading
- Airway Bill
- Commercial Invoice
- Customs Documents
- Packing Slip
- Certificate of Origin
- Proof of Delivery
- Delivery Receipt
- eCMR
- Weight Certificate
- Inspection Certificate
- Letter of Authorization
- Lumper Certificate
- Invoice
- Hazmat Document
- Shipping Label
- Other
- Miscellaneous
Example use cases
Find shipments missing paperwork
Use Does not contain → Bill of Lading to quickly identify shipments that may need follow-up.
Confirm customs readiness
Filter for Contains → Commercial Invoice and Certificate of Origin.
Audit delivery completion
Use Contains → Proof of Delivery to verify completed shipments.
