Gathering API Credentials
To start, you'll need the following:
- Echo Global Logistics External Rating Username
- Echo Global Logistics External Rating Password
Echo Global Logistics API Authentication Requirements
- Echo Global Logistics External Rating Username
- Echo Global Logistics External Rating Password
- Echo Global Logistics Account Number
- Echo Global Logistics API Key

Step-by Step Instructions - LTL
- Initiate the process by reaching out to your project44 Account Representative to notify them of your intent to leverage the project44 API connection to Echo. Request that they fill out the internal Echo integration request (linked here) so the IT team can provide credentials (API Key) to enter into the project44 Portal.
- If your Account Representative is unfamiliar with the process, have them request help from the Echo API team at APITeam@echo.com.
Uploading API Credentials
Load your organization's credentials into the project44 Capacity Provider Accounts portal. For help with the process, see Carrier Credentials Help.
Enter your Echo Global Logistics External Rating User ID, External Rating Password, API Key, and Account Number on the project44 vendors page. Please contact an Echo Global Logistics representative if you do not have these credentials.
- User ID = Echo Global Logistics External Rating Username
- Password = Echo Global Logistics External RatingPassword
- API Key = API Key received from Echo Global Logistics
- Account # = Echo Global Logistics Account Number
