Gathering API Credentials
To start, you'll need the following:

1. R+L Carriers Website User ID
2. R+L Carriers Website User Password

R+L Carriers API Authentication Requirements

• R+L Carriers Unique Key
• R+L Carriers Account #

Step-by-step Instructions - LTL

1. Log into the R+L Carriers web services sign-up page at http://www2.rlcarriers.com/freight/shipping-software/signup.

2. Complete the Business Contact Information and Technical Contact Information sections.
3. Click the checkbox to accept the Terms of Service. Click Submit.

3. Your API Key (Unique Key) will be shown in a yellow box at top of the page.
4. To activate all services, click the ON link for Pickup Request, Bill of Lading, Rate Quote, Shipment Tracing, Transit Times Calculator, Proof of Delivery, and Service Center Info.
