Gathering API Credentials
To start, you'll need the following:

1. SAIA Website User Name
2. SAIA Website Password

SAIA Authentication Requirements

• SAIA API Key
• SAIA Account #

How to obtain SAIA API Key #

1. Navigate to the SAIA Developer Portal at https://saiaprodapi.developer.azure-api.net/. 
2. Select to 'Sign Up' or 'Sign In' depending on if you already have a username for SAIA's developers portal.
3. Once signed in, select 'Products' in the upper right hand corner of the screen. 
4. Scroll down and select 'Rate Quote' from the product list.
5. 
6. Fill out 'your new product subscription name' and hit 'Subscribe'.  Note: The product subscription name can be any title you choose; for example: project44 Rating Access.
7. After you hit 'Subscribe', you will be navigated to your subscription page where you can obtain your API keys.

How to obtain SAIA Account #

1. Log in to the SAIA Customer Portal at www.saia.com and entering your user name and password.

2. Select Get a Quote in the Customer Shipping Center section.

3. Click the Select Type of Quote drop-down menu, and click on LTL Quote.

4. Account numbers will be listed under Account Information on the left side of the page.
