About the Manual Task Queue

With Manual Task Queue, create multiple spot tasks to a single dock door and override automated tasks (Auto Spot and Waveloading).

Note

Automated tasks will resume once the Manual Task Queue has no more pending Spot tasks.

In the Dock Console, dock groups with Manual Task Queue enabled will have the Manual Spot Trailer List icon.

  • When the Manual Spot Trailer List icon is black (like above), there are no pending manual move tasks.

  • When the icon is blue yms_dock_dock_console_manual_spot_trailer_list_icon_2.png, there are pending manual move tasks. The number indicates the count of manual spot tasks completed.

Click on the icon to view a list of trailers with manually-assigned Spot tasks. Up to five (5) Spot tasks can be created at one time. Click on the trailer number to view trailer details. Click on the task number to view task details.

To create a Spot task from the Manual Task Queue,

  1. Open the Manual Spot Trailer List.

  2. Click Create Spot.

  3. Enter details for the Spot task. Trailer number and Status are minimum required details.

  4. Click Spot.

Enable the Manual Task Queue for a Dock Group

Enable Manual Task Queue in the configuration for a dock group. This will enable Auto Spot for all dock doors in that group.

When you create or edit a Dock Group, toggle on MANUAL TASK QUEUE.
