About Dock Door Cards in the Dock Console
In the Dock Console, dock doors are represented by Dock Door cards. Dock Door cards provide information on the status of a dock door and trailer and tasks that can be performed.
Dock Door cards with different colors are used to indicate the status of a dock door.
A white Dock Door card indicates the dock door is unoccupied.
An orange Dock Door card with no border indicates the dock door is occupied. You can create a Pull task to move the trailer.
An orange Dock Door card with an orange border indicates the dock door is occupied and a task has been created, assigned, or started to pull the trailer.
A blue Dock Door card with a blue border indicates a Spot task has been created for the dock door.
A purple Dock Door card with a purple border indicates a Bump task has been created for the dock door.
If a dock door is unpopulated, the Dock Door card displays the following information:
-
Dock door number
-
The amount of time the dock door has been unoccupied
-
A button to create a Spot task
The Dock Door card for occupied dock doors will have information on the trailer:
-
Load type (Inbound/Outbound, DROP/LIVE)
-
Carrier SCAC
-
Trailer number
-
Trailer status (LOADED/EMPTY)
-
Shipment number
-
Buttons to create Pull task, Spot task, or Bump task
Some Dock Door cards can also have the Manual Spot Trailer List icon . This icon is only visible if the dock group is configured to support a manual task queue.
-
When the Manual Spot Trailer List icon is black (like above), there are no pending manual move tasks.
-
When the icon is blue , there are pending manual move tasks. The number indicates the count of manual spot tasks completed.
