Configure Driver Messages

Configure messages to be sent to over the road (OTR) drivers when they arrive at a site.

To access Driver Messaging Configurations,

Click Gate > Configuration > Driver Messages.
Select the site to configure driver messages for.
Enable or disable email, text, or pager message types for LIVE and DROP drivers.
A preconfigured list of messages is available. Use the toggle next to each message to enable or disable a message.
Use the Edit button to update a message.
Click Save Configuration at the bottom of the page to save any changes made to the driver message configuration for a site.

View Messages Sent to a Driver

To view messages sent to drivers,

Click Person > Driver Messages.
Use the tabs to view driver messaging for different sites.
Use the Add Site button to add or remove sites.
Click on a driver's name to view the message sent to them.
Click RESEND to send the same previously sent message to the driver again.

Send a TextMessage to a Driver

In addition to the preconfigured messages sent to drivers when they arrive at the gate, you can send ad hoc messages to onsite drivers.

To send a message to an onsite driver,

Click Person > OTR Drivers.
Open the tab for the site the driver is at.
Find the driver and click MSG DRIVER.
Enter the text message in the text box.
Click Send.
