About Configurable Alerts in project44's Last Mile Platform

Create and manage communications to customers with Consumer Visibility’s Configurable Alerts feature in project44’s Last Mile platform.

Configurable Alerts are text messages (SMS) and emails sent directly to the consumer to keep them informed about shipment progression and order status. These alerts are managed by your account administrator in the Alerts Dashboard.

Navigate to the Alerts Dashboard 

To manage Configurable Alerts, navigate to the Alerts Dashboard.

1. Click on your profile avatar.
2. Click Admin Settings in the dropdown menu.
3. Click Alerts in the lefthand navigation panel.

Preview the settings that are currently live to your consumers by clicking on the Preview button.

The Alerts page is divided into two sections:

• Global Settings - Configurations applied to all alerts.
• Transit Alerts - The available alerts you can use to send communications to customers.

Manage Global Settings

Under Global Settings on the Alerts page, you can edit the style and content for all alert headers and footers.

Edit Global Settings

• • Upload a Logo
    • Upload a logo to be used in the default alert template.
      • Click the camera icon.
      • Upload or drag-and-drop a file.
      • Click Save.
  • Edit Header Styles and Footer Content
    • Adjust and customize the alert template
      • Click the pencil icon.
      • English card/other card
      • Default HTML available: The HTML is default HTML that you can edit
      • Click Preview
      • Click Save as Draft
      • Click Publish
    • Variable tags: most relevant are the brand logo and brand name. Other variable tags relevant to in transit alerts.

Manage Transit Alerts

Under Transit Alerts, you can

• Select country where changes should apply.
• Toggle alerts on or off.
• View the status of the Transit Alert. Blue Unpublished Changes tags are applied for an alert template still in draft.
• Edit a Transit Alert.

Edit Transit Alerts Templates

1. Click pencil icon
   • • Note: at top, description of what triggers the specific alert
2. English card/other language
3. Can edit SMS and Email
   • • Checkbox by default to apply global header/footer, deselect to have custom header/footer for a specific alert: click to apply the standard header to your template/deselect to customize the header for this specific alert template.
     • Header body and footer in html
     • Add Variable tags
       • Best Practice: these tags project44 supports, audit data you are sending to ensure the data can be pulled into an alert 
     • Preview (hyperlink to section), save a draft, or publish changes.
4. View Preview
   • Preview to view a draft preview
     • Preview modal shows all changes. If enabled, switch between different language views.
     • Send a test email by clicking Send as Test
     • Click Close when done.
