Carrier Notifications
Send a PDF of the Yard Inventory Report to Carriers.
The Yard Inventory Report is a snapshot of the trailers currently in the yard. It is sent as a PDF attachment via email and includes only the trailers that belong to the Carrier. The report has a standard format that includes the following information:

Trailer number

Trailer Type (Trailer)

Status (Empty, Loaded)

Status Dwell Time
-
Current Location
-
Location Dwell Time
-
Arrival Time
-
Site Dwell Time
-
Condition (for example, "Damage")
-
Detention Charges
-
Last Updated Time
-
Comments
Reports will only list equipment with a "Drop" load type and exclude trailers with a Missing or NA Current Location. Trailers are listed by Trailer number. See an example of the Yard Inventory Report sent to Carriers below:
To check if a Carrier is set up to receive the current yard inventory,

Open the Carrier Listing page (Asset > Carrier Listing).

Find the Carrier in the table and click on the Carrier ID.

Click Notification.

The Carrier is set to receive the yard inventory if Notify Inventory is Active.
The Carrier is not set to receive the yard inventory if Notify Inventory is Inactive.
Only Administrator users can edit Carrier information. This includes making changes to Carrier notification settings.
To enable a Carrier to receive Yard Inventory notifications,

Open the Carrier Listing page (Asset > Carrier Listing).

Find the Carrier in the table and click on the Carrier ID.

Click EDIT.

Click Notification.

Click on the Gear button.

Configure the settings to send a notification to the Carrier. Click Update.

The default start date is the current date.

An end date is not required. The default end date is blank.

Click Update.
