Convey provides the flexibility and the availability to access all of the data flowing through your Convey system that you can then pull via API calls to various third-party tools. The scope of the integration is really dependent from client to client and system to system. Here is a brief outline of the various APIs we offer.
For clients who are wanting to generate their own internal tracking page, you can leverage our tracking API to pull certain exception and shipment statuses from the Convey app, to then display on your own tracking page.
For clients who have a higher volume of shipments, you can create, quote, and schedule shipments through this API without ever having to log into the app and schedule them manually.
The Decision API is similar to the Shipment API, however you don't necessarily need to schedule the shipment, you just want to know who the low cost carrier is.
Retrieve Shipment Events API
You can also call our API to pull all, or certain shipment events when they arise within the app. One example of why you may want to do this is if you want to take some action every time a shipment becomes a certain status.
Data Export API
This API allows you to export out a list of shipments with their current respective statuses from a pre-determined period of time.
