The Carrier Performance section allows for great visibility on how well each of your carriers are performing in a number of different metrics.

1.) Select from the dropdown the carrier who's metrics you're interested in:

• Shipment Volume: A count of shipments created date from within the selected date range. 
  
  
• Exception Volume: Number of exceptions created within the selected date range.
  
  
• Exception Percentage: Similar to "on-time delivery" this takes the total # of shipments for a carrier w/ an exception and divides by total shipments for same period.
  
  
• Transit Time: The average number of days difference between the deliver date and ship date between the selected date range. *only granularity available monthly. 
  
  
• On-Time Delivery: A sum of the shipment count where deliver date is less than or equal to original estimated delivery date.

You'll then be provided with two different views; one which will show you a side by side comparison of the your selected carrier compared to your network of carriers:

The other view will be a bar graph representation of your data selection:
