Data Export
Convey provides the ability to export out certain data elements about your shipments for you to use for your own external purposes. To access the data export page hover your mouse over the command center icon and click on "Data Export":
Simply select which type of shipments you're wanting to export (Freight, Parcel, or both):
Click which fields you'd like to include in your file:
Select the dates you'd like this data to be derived from:
Choose your format and click download:
Explanation of Fields:

shipment_id - Convey generated shipment reference number.

bol - Bill of Lading number.

pro - The shipment’s Tracking Number from the respective carrier.

purchase_order - Purchase Order for the shipment from either the carrier or order feed.

reference - Convey client’s respective Internal reference number (typically the order number).

return_authorization - The return reference number for the shipment.

pickup_date - The date that the package was picked up.

shipper_zip - Zip code of the shipper.

shipper_name - Name of the shipper.
- original_edd - First estimated delivery date that Convey is able to recognize through one of multiple data sources (website, data feed, .csv file).
- latest_edd - The most recently updated EDD. Most often this will be the same date as Original EDD, but in the event that it changes, you will be able to calculate metrics on the difference.

delivery_appointment_date - This is the date that a customer has set up a delivery appointment with the carrier that we recognize through one of many sources (website, data feed, .csv file).

consignee_zip - The zip code of the recipient.

consignee_name - The name of the recipient.

customer - The entity/owner managing the shipment.

total_net_charge - The total cost for the shipment.

actual_charge - Total cost discovered from the carrier while in transit.

accessorial_cost - Charges for additional services (lift gate, residential delivery, etc.).

status - Current status of the shipment from the carrier. For additional resources on codes please reference Convey Status Definitions.

class - Freight classification used for large item shipments.

weight - Total shipments weight.

actual_weight - If weight discovered from the carrier in transit differs from the original weight reported (often times the same).

length_of_haul - Number of miles from origin to destination.

deliver_date - The date the shipment was delivered reported by the carrier.

book_date - The date that the shipment was scheduled for pickup (typically only populated by Convey Initiate users).

carrier_name - Name of the carrier.

convey_exception_count - Convey derived shipping issues.
-
carrier_exception_count - Carrier reported shipping issues.

shipment_source - Method for which Convey discovered the shipment.

exception_type - Current exception type for the shipment (if applicable).
- carrier_service_level - Designated service level for the shipment as provided by the carrier.
- return_to_sender_date - This is the latest date that a carrier has reported a "return to sender" exception. Please note that if the carrier does not report this exception - we will not recognize a "Return to Sender Date" and field will be blank.
- damaged_date - This is the latest date that a carrier has reported a "damage" exception. Please note that if the carrier does not report this exception - we will not recognize a "Damage Date" and field will be blank.
